TeKONTROL, displayed a herculean effort supporting and executing work with various aircraft types by performing technical engineering and logistics management services to support the sustainment of those aircraft in all areas including avionics. TKI was not only tasked with knowing how to perform these services, but also with training foreign military users in how to perform the services in a self sustaining manner. The performance included computer automation of the ILS systems for the various aircraft and vehicles. The work performed under these delivery orders enabled increased mission capability and contributed to a major force multiplier.
