TeKONTROL in partnership with Tapestry Solutions, San Diego, CA, has received selection to proposal submitted to PEO STRI-STOC II RFP. The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) awarded the second STRI Omnibus Contract, known as STOC II to 142 companies on January 27, 2009. STOC II, valued at $17.5 billion over the next 10 years, serves as an efficient contracting vehicle in order to quickly get simulation and training products and services into the hands of U.S. and coalition service members. In response to the STOC II Request for Proposal, the Government received compliant proposals from 158 companies for evaluation; 127 proposals (60 large companies and 67 small companies) were received in the Full & Open Lot; and 98 proposals were received in the Small Business Set-Aside Lot. The overall ceiling value for the STOC II ID/IQC is $17.5B. The range for proposed prices was from $125,016,752 to $574,773,295.
