TeKONTROL AWARDED CONTRACT FOR THE NEW AMWAY CENTER
TeKONTROL, Inc., along with joint venture partner, Facilities Management Services Group (FMSG) of St. Louis, MO, was awarded the Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) portion of the new Amway Center, a sports venue located off Interstate 4 in downtown Orlando, Florida.
It is part of the nearly $1 Billion Dollar Master Plan that also involves improvements to the Citrus Bowl and the construction of a new performing arts center. The arena, whose completion is expected in time for the 2010-11 NBA season, will be home to the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association, the Orlando Predators of Arena Football 1 and the Orlando Titans of the National Lacrosse League.
